These very special cars were produced in conjunction with Ford Motor Co. to celebrate Richard Petty's 80th birthday. Only 43 were ever produced. #1 is in a museum and #43 was given to Mr. Petty.. this one is #2 . so this car is the first publicly offered run of only 43. Most importantly. this is NOT a "King Edition". the difference is the addition of a Whipple supercharger which only the tributes had, producing a whopping 825HP.. moving them into a true exotic car territory.
