1971 Honda SL 70 total restoration. Professional re-paint in Aquarius blue with white stripes and original metal foil Honda tank badges. Side covers are original with all mounting taps in place, painted at same time as tank and fenders, all match perfectly. Frame was powder coated in correct silver color. Bike has been in heated storage with gas drained from carb and tank. Highly collectible first year with bright chrome work and great paintwork completed in spray booth not garage. 72 cc Honda motor runs like Honda renowned for. Precise four speed transmission shifts smoothly. This SL was restored with all OEM Honda parts, no cheap short cuts taken. Cables and levers are original Honda parts in great shape. Hardware is bright with correct grade 8 stamping. Included in auction is very hard to find correct speedometer with proper mounting bracket showing 2900 miles. Tires new with zero use. Seat is recovered free from any imperfections. Clean new 30 weight oil in crankcase and kicked over regularly to circulate. Will provide brand new (dry) battery if reserve met. All lights worked before storage.OEM exhaust with muffler guard in great shape. SL sold on bill of sale only,no titles in NY until 1973. Add gas and battery to bike and will be ready to ride or show.
