Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 1972 Triumph Stag roadster project car. These were also called a 2 + 2 Sport Tourer- all of them came with the removable hardtop. This car has a clear Wisconsin title and the odometer shows 46,777 miles. This is a barn find that needs some work. The gas tank was taken out of the car, cleaned and is sitting in the trunk - see the trunk picture. We have not re-installed it and have not tried starting the engine but the engine is loose. It appears to have the original 3.0L V-8 engine but not verified. We're really not sure what works and what doesn't since it's not running but it all appears to be there. Interior is in very good shape and appears original. The body is showing some rust around the wheel wells and along the bottom of the quarters. Paint is faded. Glass is all there and in good condition. Bumpers and trim are in good condition but are showing some very light pitting. It does have factory wire wheels including the spare. This is a very rare project car. There were less than 26,000 of these cars built in 7 years of production. You could do a little work to it and just start driving it or do a full restore and add a lot of value. It is for sale locally so we reserve the right to end the auction at any time.
