1965 Pontiac GTO, original owner died, passed to his daughter on his death. Purchased from Anoka Garage Co. 91 West Main St, Anoka Minnesota on 7-17-1965 for the total of $3013.17, with a discount of $490.58. Have the original window sticker, bill of sale from dealer, owners manual with protect-o-plate, broadcast sheet, and last a letter from PHS stating that they have no record on this car ??? Last fall the following work was performed on the GTO, new starter, gas tank, cooling hoses, front shocks, 15 X 7 Rally wheels with center caps and trim rings, tires. The brakes were rebuilt, new master cylinder, new rear shoes, wheel cylinders, hoses, the front brakes are 1967 Firebird, new lines and rebuilt calipers were installed. One fender has been replaced, the rest of the sheet metal in original. Has rust in the usual GTO places, surface rust on most surfaces, rear window all the way around, drivers quarter panel and trunk floor. The original 389 had a rod let go and was replaced with a 400 service engine from Pontiac, 670 heads and ramair exhaust manifolds Have the original heads and exhaust manifolds.
