Up for sale is a 1964 bmw r27 road racer....engine has had extensive machine work done to accommodate the r69 dual plug top end.....carburetor is a 32mm dellorto pumper....ignition is 12v total loss......I have had this bike about 15 years and had planned to vintage race it...but never did because I was too busy with flat track stuff...as far as I know I'm the third owner....I have met and talked to the original owner and builder of the bike and he said back in the day he did quite well with it at laguna seca.....I have riddin the bike on the street behind my house and was surprised that it did get up go pretty good especially for an r27......I hate to see it go but after some injuries and moving to a new house I just can't keep it anymore......I've never registered it as It's a race bike but I will provide a California bill of sale to the buyer......feel free to ask any questions....and as for shipping I will help any way I can within reason.
