1941 Chevrolet half ton pickup with great potential. The pickup project has had most of the difficult work done and just needs finishing. The idea of this project was to build a fun everyday driver that would draw attention wherever it went. The body has a few bumps and bruises it has earned from its 77 years of service. Our intensions was to clear coat the truck leaving as is. The cab is in good shape, new door bottoms have been welded in and the inside has been cleaned and painted. Windshield crank, cowl vent lever and interior trim is included. Seat has been lightly sandblasted painted and new burlap installed. The box has been shortened 4 inches and rear fenders were moved to center over the rear tires. Box is mounted, the sides have had some patching done where fenders were previously mounted. Rear fenders are original and have had some work done to them. Tailgate has new hinges and works as it should. Running boards have been sectioned and remounted. Front clip will need to be shimmed a little to better fit, hood hinge needs to be refastened. The frame and suspension is from a S10 Extreme giving it a great ride height and drivability. The frame and suspension were cleaned than coated with chassis saver and new body mounts installed. New brake lines ran to the back, will need new shoes. A small block Chevrolet motor was mocked up "NOT INCLUDED" using the S10 V8 mounts. Trailer receiver hitch has been installed to pull that vintage camper or whatever. I have a clear Minnesota Tittle for the truck in my name. I will try to answer any question as soon as possible. The buyer will need to arrange for shipping. I am available to help load. Pickup within 1 month from end of auction. $500 non-refundable down payment within 48 hours of auction ending. Remaining balance in cash at time of pickup or by bank certified check (certified check must have time to clear my bank before truck can be picked up)
