Here is an original, 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air 2 Door Hardtop, that has had one owner from March 2nd of 1956 to October of 2007. The second owner kept the car in heated storage. The car is in excellent condition. It's original miles are 88,140 and it's service history is well documented. The original 265 "Power Pack" V8 was professionally rebuilt in 1987 and runs excellent. The Power-Glide automatic transmission was serviced and shifts perfectly. The gas tank was replaced and the whole fuel system was freshened up. A respray was done in the 80's, in the Original Twilight Turquoise and India Ivory, and has original patina showing the lacquer's age, but as you can see, looks very good. The undercarriage is solid with no major issues, as is the trunk, wheel arches and floorpans. Nice original rocker panels. Eyebrows are solid. You won't find an area that a magnet won't stick to. Excellent stainless and chrome. Perfect original specification seats, excellent original door panels and arm-rests. Perfect headliner and inside stainless, too!The last owner clad the car in new SS Cragar Chrome Mag wheels and a new set of BF Goodrich Radial T/A tires. All of the original hub caps and spare, jack come complete. The original matching numbers 265 Power Pack, fires up easily, runs strong and the car drives very nice. Everything works excellently. If you like original documents, this is the 56 for you.
