Vehicle Detail
9/19 - added 2 pictures of the interior from drivers side and a better picture of the scrape on the driver side rear fender near bumper Yes. The motor is in the car currently. Other pics were just to show the internal engine parts that I call out below... Purchased this car in November of 2002 from a gentleman in Ohio who was racing it. My intention was to convert it back to a more reliable, yet fast, street car. Motor was rebuilt in 2003 to be approximately 450 horsepower. You'll see in the pictures that the car has a 250 horsepower NOS kit on it, but the current engine has not been tuned to use it. I was planning to take it off, but kept it on mainly because it looked cool. The rebuilt motor has about 12 hours of running time on it. I rebuilt it and then moved and had the car stored in a friends multi car garage until I could come and get it. Drove it to my garage in 2006. I would drive it 20 minutes to work on an occasional sunny day Friday. In 2008, I was working on the belt alignment for the power steering. The power steering serpentine belt would walk off under any load. Unfortunately, I experienced a job change that had me on the road more than at the house for a few years and the car has just been sitting in my garage with the power steering disassembled ever since. I'm selling the car as-is. Here is what you need to know about the car: Mechanical needs:Power steering belt alignment kit (they make this now, but not back then)(see pic of power steering)Reseal water pump (from loosening power steering bolts brackets)Transmission pan gasket (I have a case of trick shift and a gasket/filter that will come with the car)Oil change (just from sitting so long)Recommend rebuilding the electric fuel pump and replacing fuel filter (again from the sitting)Windshield wipers (I have the wipers, but the cowl hood needs to be trimmed a bit so they clear it)Left rear drum break caliper was leaking when I last drove it in 2008Rewire fuel level gaugeRear window; drivers side has a slow drip when I washed the carSpeedo mph is off due to rear gear ratio; mileage isn't accurateNeeds a new batteryDrive-train details:396 bored to a 402; line honed in 2003Ported cast iron headsATI Super Damper Harmonic BalancerHolley 750 CFM Double PumperMSD 6A Ignition and Blaster 2 CoilRoller rockers with Crane Cams stud girdlesK&N Air FilterMarch serpentine pulley kitPolyurethane engine mounts4 core radiatorI've provided a pic of cam spec sheetLate model mini starter; cranks over the big block without as much battery strain3 inch exhaust form the headers; dumps after the rear axle (sounds amazing when running)Full manual valve body TH350 automatic transmission; 3500 rpm stall converterHurst Quarter Stick Shifter w/ Reverse Lockout12 Bolt Chevy rear with 4:56 gear ratioFront disc brakes; rear drum250 HP NOS Kit with spare bottle and 2 bottle blanketsTrunk mounted batteryEmergency battery cut-off switchHolley Electric Fuel Pump and in line filter; rear mounted w/ metal safety splash guardBody:Paint and bodywork is about 20 years old and completed before I purchased the car so I don't know all the details of each panelGM Lemans BlueFiberglass 4" Cowl Induction hoodBody has some small blemishes (shown in pics) that I inherited when I purchased the car; ding on front passenger fender, scrape on rear taillight bezel and bumper, small paint chips on hoodChevy Rally WheelsBlack Headlight "eyelids"Water resistant car cover that has only been used indoorsInterior:Black with bucketsFront race lap beltsAftermarket steering wheelRacing tachometerRadio and speakers are not hooked up and no antenna on the car ( believe this is because the prior owner was building it for racing and didn't care about these things; I just never got to it)If I think of anything else, I will make updates and add pictures. Please don't hesitate to ask any additional questions! On Sep-23-18 at 06:59:55 PDT, seller added the following information: My description above is incorrect; this is a 402 block that was line honed.
