I am only the 3rd owner, the 2nd owner spent a LOT of money on parts, I totaled up the receipts he sent me, a whopping $11,600! Literally too many to list, here are a few bigger ones: rebuilt tranny, rebuilt engine with dual port heads with big valves, 90.5 pistons, Engle 110 cam, dual carbs, ceramic coat exhaust, 009 Distributor, chrome Empi style wheels, new brakes, master cylinders, new steering box, new steering wheel, fuel gauge, clock, speedo, turn signal assembly, lens, ball joints, weatherstripping, on and on. Pics were taken with a really good camera and are accurate, small things need to be fixed, rear quarter window won’t close all the way, small leak in windshield, I drove it all the way from Long Island to Va when I bought it, no problem, originally a West coast car, have Birth Certificate from VW Museum, shipped to Los Angeles. It’s not perfect but with so many new parts inside and out it won’t take much, runs strong, all new switch gear inside also, wipers, headlights, cigarette lighter, on and on, I have all receipts! Mark
