. . 1984 Buick Riviera . 16k miles . 76 high resolution pictures below The Riviera has been Buicks personal luxury car since 1963 and has consistently been a style leader for Buick. The sixth generation Riviera(79-85) is still one of the best examples of American personal luxury ever built. The Riviera shared its chassis with the Oldsmobile Toronado and Cadillacs Eldorado, while managing to look statelier then either of them. In fact, the first year of production for this body(1979) won Riviera the Motor Trend car of the Year Award. 1985 would be the last year of this beautiful body style. This particular extremely low mile example has been garaged and given much love since new. It benefits from an outstanding color scheme of Sand Gray with Dark Sable interior, and is loaded with options like leather wrapped sport wheel, concert sound system, both driver and passenger 6-way power seat, electric passenger recliner and electronic touch climate control. This Riviera is a sight to behold and only has 16k miles and a perfect carfax. I have owned 7 or 8 of these in this body style(84-85) over the years, and I believe this one to be the most perfect and solid of any I have ever collected. The flow of the body lines are amazing, and is one of the best looking coupes ever made. Certain colors look best on certain body styles and this body Riviera is breathtaking in Sand Gray with a Dark Sable interior. I am not aware of anything that doesnt work as expected including the factory electric antenna. The AC was just serviced and is ice cold. This beautiful Buick runs very smooth and quiet, and tracks straight down the road. I believe it to be factory paint all the way around aside from the front and rear filler panels. These filler panels(flexible material around the front and rear bumpers) were changed out and look great with a perfect color match.
