WelcomeDescription - Up for your consideration is this 2001 Chrysler, Town & Country Wheelchair / Handicap Mini Van with hand controls. Less than 76,000 miles on it, at the time of posting. It has a 6 cylinder, 3.8 liter engine in it. The driver's seat slides to the back and swivels to the side, so it is easily accessible for a handicap person to get into. It also has hand controls for a handicap person to drive. It can be driven without the hand controls by using the foot pedals if desired. It runs good and everything appears to be working as it should. The ramp extends out of the van with a push of a button (from inside the side door, from the driver's seat, or from a remote fob) and the van lowers and leans at the same time. As well as the hand controls, it has a EZ Lock Wheelchair Docking System, an EMC (Electronic Mobility Controls) Smart-Shift SS-001, as well as a Crescent Industries right hand window/lock control box. It has power steering, power brakes, power windows, power locks, power leather seats, power doors. There is a check engine light on. I had it checked out and they said it was an oxygen sensor, probably from bad gas, so we put a can of cleaner in the gas tank and filled it up. Also the brake light is on, told it is probably a dirty or bad sensor. There are a few scratches on it (see pictures), the coating on the paint is flaking in a few spots and the carpet needs a good cleaning, but this van is a good running van with low mileage on it.
