For Sale, 1972 HONDA CUSTOM CHOPPER, made from a CL-350 K2, built sometime in the late 70s- early80s, and last registered in 1988. I purchased it at a Estate sale in 2006, with flat tires, dead battery, No starter, pitted fork tubes, and all the Chrome was Green with Corrosion! It was equipped with all the Chopper accessories such as- 6" over fork tubes, Twisted Square Stock high-rise handlbars, Tufted Custom King and Queen seat, Custom Muraled Gas Tank with 3 Scenes (Grim Reaper), TT Pipes, Velocity Stacks, and Bobbed Fenders! The Resurection (not Restoration) entailed- New Fork Tubes,and Seals, Just Balls steering head Bearings, New Front and Rear Wheel Bearings, New Tires, Tubes and Rim Strips, Balanced, Rebuilt Starter and Starter Chain and Sprocket, Cover Gaskets (both sides), New Battery, Points and condensers, and Plugs, Fuel Lines and Filters, Front and Rear Brake Shoes!! It has been "Resurected" not "Restored", partly to give it that "Flavor" of a 70s- 80s Chopper, and also I didn't want to "Go Broke" getting it Done! The Chrome cleaned up really well, and it Starts and Runs, clutches, shifts and stops well, But- the Carbs still aren't "Right" yet, as you go through the gears, it doesn't "come alive" until 4000- 5000 rpms, then really Takes Off! The carbs were Rebuilt by a supposed "Expert", and I can't get them Dialed in! I have 2 More Carb kits with Jets ($50.00) to go with the bike, I'm Done---Got too much Invested in it now versus what it's Worth! Wifey says to get it out of here- Priced reasonably- I have more than my asking price invested already! After purcase, it will have to be PICKED UP, No SHIPPING, I might be willing to Deliver up to 250 miles for expenses only. PLEASE NOTE= I have added 4 new pictures, especially the one showing the 4" Extended Kickstand, no need for wood blocks anymore!
