Vehicle Detail

Up for bids is this 1965 fastback mustang. It is a project car as the pictures show. It will need alot of work. This is not a easy project it still has a long way to go. It is pretty much complete car. Im gonna say its 90% there. Parts for these cars are easy to find as they repop almost everything for them. The fastback interior stuff is pretty much there. All the fiberglass panels, back trim pieces, fold down seat is there. All the glass is there. It has a 289 that was a good running motor when it was pulled out of the car it was in. This was originally a 6 cylinder car when it was new but has been converted to a V8 at some point and has the 5 lug stuff with a 289 3 speed in it. It rolls and steers for loading purposes. It will need sheetmetal work. Someone started on it at some point and did some very amatur work on it that will need some repairs. Some is salvageable and in my opinion some is not. It looks like someone was in the middle or working on it and quit. There is stuff that will need welds finished that is just tacked in. The floors were replaced but I would say they would really need to be fixed because whoever did it really did not do them correctly. The rear quarters were replaced and they could be salvaged I think. The rear rails and the back and trunk floor were replaced. This stuff looks decent. The roof is good. The front rails could be used. There is some places at the very front on the drivers side that will need patching. The firewall looks okay. There is one apron on the passenger side that will need work. Its a project. I will have a hard time explaining every place on the car. It all depends on what you are wanting. If you want a coucours show car you will want to replace more but it you just want a driver you can patch sections and not go the extreme on some stuff. Ive seen alot worse and I have seen alot better. I will need sheetmetal work. You can look at the pics. If you need more pics of a specific area I can get them. If you need to know about something just ask. Its a project not something you will be driving in a month. It does have a clear title. This was also a factory raven black car with red interior which as a good looking color combo. The car is located in Jonesboro Louisiana and will have to be picked up here. I can store it for a month or a little longer if needed but need it picked up as soon as possible. I will accept cash in person, ceritfied bank check, or bank wire transfer as payment for the car. I will require full payment within seven days after the auction ends. Please serious bidders. I have had many deals lately where people win and I will never hear from them. This cost me time and money to list these so please make sure you want to buy it before placing a bid. If you have questions email me or call me at 318-278-1069. My name is Rodney. I think I covered pretty much everything but if you need more info just let me know.
