Absolutely Beautiful 1980 GS850 in unmolested original condition. This motorcycle was purchased from the estate of the original owner where it was stored in a climate controlled garage it's whole life. Meticulously maintained and stored this bike only needed fresh gas an oil change and a new battery for her to roar back to life. Engine runs flawlessly with no smoke, leaks or unusual noises. Bike pulls smooth and strongly through all gears. All lights, indicators and gauges work properly. Brake fluid was clean but was flushed regardless. Pads are at 90% and the three disc system stops this bike very well. This motorcycle is a pleasure to ride and would suit a variety of uses from daily commuter to collectors addition. The only issues with the bike are minor cosmetics which can be seen in the photos. There is a small dent on the lower right side of the tank. There is a minor dent on the front fender. There is a rub mark on the rear fender. And some of the pinstriping is missing. This motorcycle looks amazing in person with an engine that looks like you could eat off of. The Metzeler tires are soft and in like new condition with plenty of tread. The original sissy bar is in great shape. Also included but not pictured are the original tool kit, air pressure gauge and owners manual. This motorcycle is being auctioned to the highest bidder with no reserve.
