Up for sale is my 1976 Jeep CJ5. Engine is a 232 Inline 6 cylinder. Manual trans ,3 speed. 4 wheel drive. I have owned this jeep for 3 years, but due to an accident , I am unable to utilize it anymore. I bought this Jeep in Jonesboro Arkansas, and drove It home. About 350 miles or so. Probably drove it less than 1000 since then. But, actual mileage is unknown. I have had the alternator rebuilt, installed a new radiator, 5 new wheels, 15 X 7, and 5 new tires, 205/70 15. This Jeep is in remarkable shape to be 42 years old . All window glass is good in top with no cracks. Windshield is perfect. Wipers work, fan works, turn signals , and all lights work. Speedometer cable is broken. Gas gauge doesn't work. Some rust on floorboards, couple spots on sides by floorboards. Also in seam of tailgate, and around windshield post. It comes with a metal top and two doors, and all brackets needed to hang the doors to the Jeep. This jeep's Frame is not cracked or rusted out. It has been inside my shop last 3 years. I believe the top is a Jeep optional top. I have the paperwork that shows how to assemble it. Things I think it needs, throwout bearing squeals every now and then, but not enough to make me replace it. If it sits a week or longer, it gets hard to start, but runs and idles great, so I put up with it. Could use a clutch clevis rod, the original is worn pretty good. Master cylinder leaks. Windshield frame is questionable . But all in all , way better than some, especially for one in mostly original shape. Lots of potential here for restoration, or start using it from day one.
