They can be seen here. More photos of the Insight can be seen here. 2003 Silver Honda Insight. Manual transmission. Air Conditioning. I have owned the car since December of 2013. 53.8 lifetime mpg. It is currently garage kept. This car no longer has a role to fill, so it has to go. The good:-The IMA system works 100%. -The a-pillar clips have been replaced and Hondabond has been applied underneath them. -The roof seam between the a-pillar and the c-pillar has been scraped out and refilled with 3M strip caulk and repainted. This area is a common place for water to leak into the hatch. -Zero transmission grind. -The threads on the oil pan drain are in good shape, but the drain plug has been replaced with a Fumoto valve. The original drain plug is included; however, it will need a new crush washer. -The EGR plate was cleaned and the gasket replaced late 2017. -Factory paint. -New Monroe 5752 shocks were installed in 2016. I engineered and machined custom brackets to mount them. -The grid charger, discharger, and light bulbs are included. -I will include a module that can be wired up to the car to "force" the auto-stop function to kick in when desired. It works just by pressing a button. It's great for going down hills when the engine isn't needed. -The wheels have security lug nuts on them. The lug nut key is included as well as the four regular lug nuts. -There is a 6 CD changer installed underneath the floor of the hatch. I was told it is factory. There are buttons on the factory radio for cd selection. -New Denso wipers were installed late 2017. They are all larger than stock to wipe more area. -The oil was changed at 185,000 with Toyota 0w-20 synthetic and a Mobil 1 M1-110 filter. This filter is for a Civic and has more filter area. -New fuel injectors were installed in 2017. -The spark plugs were replaced in 2016. I do not believe I bought the special marked/ indexed plugs. -The front brake pads were replaced in 2016. The rear pads had plenty of life left. -The cabin air filter and engine air filter were replaced in 2017. -The windows have been greased with Shin-Etsu grease. They roll up fast every time. -The black strip on the bottom of the fender skirts have been re-wrapped with 3M 1080 matte black vinyl. -The trim running underneath the side windows has been wrapped with 3M 1080 matte black vinyl. -The car will come with a full set of oem floor mats and a set of rubber floor mats. -It has the factory cargo bag and cargo net. -It has just been washed, clay barred, and waxed. The bad:-The battery was replaced, probably with a refurbished unit, in 2013 before I bought the car. The IMA light came on for the first time in late 2016. I bought a grid charger in early 2017. Charging kept the IMA light off for a few months at a time through 2017. Finally, I built a discharger in January of this year and ran a few consecutively deeper discharges. The battery now has much more capacity, and it hasn't thrown an IMA light since. -The tires were replaced in 2014 with Kumho Solus KR21s. They are ran at 45psi and have no uneven wear. They currently have about 6/32" of tread left. -It leaks a very small amount of oil around the Fumoto valve. It just needs a new crush washer at the next oil change. -The windshield has three small rock chips each smaller than a dime. -The vanity mirror's cover has broken off. The cover is included. -There is a small dent on the driver's side quarter panel. -The passenger side fender skirt has a 10" long scratch. One of the quarter turn fasteners came out on the highway. Now the skirts are held on with stainless steel bolts, washers, and lock nuts. -There is a gouge on the rear bumper under the hatch release latch. -The wheels have oxidation on their clear coat. -The roof is missing the clear coat on the front passenger side corner, but the paint still shines. The spot is smaller than your hand. -The clear coat on the rear spoiler is cracking. -The under body panels at the engine bay are missing.
