With its trick aluminum frame, 43mm inverted fork, 17-inch wheels shod with sporty rubber and radial-mount calipers biting dual front rotors, the 1050 is a giggle-a-minute riot on twisty backroads. Yet thanks to its comfy ergonomics, torque-heavy three-cylinder powerplant and tall sixth gear, it cruises the open road with ease, especially accompanied by its set of optional saddlebags.
