Up for sale, Very Rare 1968 chevelle concourse sport coupe/ SS clone. This is one of very few concourse sports coupes produced in 1968. It also is one of the only ones I’ve found with the 327, Factory AC car but needs lines and compressor. Power disc brakes, and power steering. I haven’t been able to find another one like this with these options on line or by talking to chevelle guys, ( might be a one of one chevelle) ?From what I can tell the car was painted and turned into a SS clone sometime in the mid 1980’s from looking at the Heartbeat of America logo stitched into the seat. The guy I got the car from bought it from a collection in storage in Florida ( see copy of Florida title) The car looks great but should have an updated restore done on it . It is not a Sema Show car and has flaws in paint , trim and interior , so I am selling the car as a driver quality car that someone can take to cruise night and have fun with or do a complete restore and make it a high end one of a kind car. It has what appears to be the factory 327 engine with a mild cam, aluminum heads, new polished Holley carb, Mallory cap and wires, new oil and plugs . New heater core,new dash bezel, new under dash gauges, seems to have factory SS steering wheel, SS hood , and has trim pieces . New carpet installed, , I have a factory am radio for it and a am/fm gm radio that will go with the car. Has a 350turbo trans, Once again this is a rare chevelle with an older paint and body job, it is not perfect selling as is and shown.
