This is a classic example Barn Find that would be considered a rolling project bike. The CB500T's were produced for two years only, 1975 and 1976 and are considered to an "Under the Radar" classic. This bike was built in December of 1974 so it is an early production model. The VIN on the frame is CB500T-1017576 and the engine is CB500TE-1017588. One of the distinguishing features of the 500T was the large brown seat which was considered to be very comfortable and roomy. As can be seen in the photos this bike is very weathered from sitting outside for a prolonged period and is not currently running. I think the finish would originally been a brown tone but now appears to be black. This CB500T is being sold as a project bike suitable for restoration. My garage is in New Stanton PA 15639 where I-70 intersects with I-76 (Pennsylvania Turnpike) and we can accommodate pick up on a 24/7 basis.
