Vehicle Detail

Bought this GTO at 35,000 miles in 2016. I searched for about a year before I bought it because I wanted one that was completely stock and hadn't been driven into the ground. I had it for 6 months before I deployed for 9 months in late 2016. It was garage kept on jack stands and started every week by a friend of mine. Once I got back, I purchased another vehicle and only drive the GTO once a week or so. Replaced the pads, rotors and tires at ~39,000 and battery at 43,000. Since owning it, I have maintained it myself with Mobil 1 oil changes regularly (3,000 miles...overkill, I know, but I love this car like my firstborn). I also replaced all fluids (trans, diff, brake and clutch) with high quality stuff when I initially bought it at 35,000. The vehicle is bone stock and unmolested except for a Kooks muffler delete and a gtog8ta.com short throw shifter. The stock mufflers will be included in the sale, but it sounds too good without them for me to put them on. The shifter was installed in late 2017 and makes it much more fun to drive, in my opinion. The stock height was just too tall. There are a couple of slight issues that I will disclose: First, the rear head rest leather stitching is starting to pull apart. This is a well-known issue on GTOs and an upholstery shop here in town quoted me $150 to restitch it, but I haven't had the time to take them in. Picture is included. Second, there was a slight puncture to the driver's seat. It was about 1/2 inch in length and was repaired with leather backing and upholstery glue. It is hardly noticeable but I can send you a picture of a close up of it if you'd like. Third, the steering wheel audio controls are inoperable. When I bought the car, there was an after market head unit in it and the steering wheel controls worked fine. I replaced the aftermarket unit with the stock unit and afterwards, the controls didn't work anymore. I'm sure it's an easy fix but I haven't taken the time to figure it out myself. The paint isn't 100% perfect as it hasn't been garage kept for the past 8 months or so, but it doesn't have any scratches, chips, dents, etc. The interior is in great condition and has been maintained very well. In December 2017, another car entered my lane and hit my left fender. The vehicle was still drivable with no damage to the frame or suspension. It was repaired at the local GM dealership. I have all paperwork for the repairs. The work done was outstanding and I had no complaints whatsoever. I've taken great care of this car and planned to own it for much longer, but I am moving to Italy and it would be a disservice to store this car for three years while I'm gone, so I'm letting it go. All communications will be via ebay motors. I'm not a scammer. Just Soldier that's being "forced" into moving to Italy for a three year paid vacation full of trips to the field, Airborne operations, and a deployment or two. Hit me up! All the way!
