Power is from a 4.9L V8 paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox and the original Dinan upgrades included an ECU tune, high-flow mass air meters (replaced by OEM Bosch units recently), cold air intakes, free-flow exhaust, Stage 1 suspension components, and strut tower brace. Further alterations consist of a custom audio system, ZHP shift knob, aftermarket roundels, and 3M clear protective film. This E39 now shows 102k indicated miles we and are offering this up for auction with a Dinan build sheet and official badge, records back to 50k miles and a clean Texas title. The body is finished in Imola Red (a very rare E39 M5 color) and 3M clear protective film has been applied to the forward surfaces. Cosmetic changes consist of black kidney grilles, body color matched trim and aftermarket roundels. Factory 18″ Style 65 alloy wheels were recently refinished and are fitted with Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires mounted 4k miles ago. The windows are tinted 35% up front and 20% out back. Dinan Stage 1 suspension components are fitted according to the included build sheet. The leather seats were originally trimmed with Imola Red inserts, which were dyed black under previous ownership and the drivers seat is showing some wear on the dye (seat is in great shape and nothing a little dye wont fix) Other alterations include a new steering wheel, a ZHP shift knob, and an audio system consisting of an Alpine ILX-007 touchscreen head unit with Apple CarPlay, Alpine speakers, and a subwoofer. The odometer displays approximately 102k miles. There are some dead pixels in the display under the gauge cluster and we are happy to point you to a couple sources that can fix this common e39 issue for very cheap. Dinan upgrades for the 4.9L S62 V8 include high-flow mass air meters, a cold air intake, Stage 2 ECU software, and a free-flow exhaust system. A strut tower brace was also fitted as part of the upgrade package. Work performed at 98k miles included replacement of the oil pan gasket, oil separator, a power steering pressure line, and an upper intake gasket.
