Up for auction today is this 1986 Caprice Classic 2 Door Sedan. This car is being offered by the original owner who personally used and cared for the car since its purchase. The car has a clean title and has no accident history. Car frame is straight. This car has all available options including: power seats, steering, locks, A/C, cruise control, front lower marker lights. Vehicle maintenance log maintained by original owner chronicles all oil changes and maintenance for the vehicle. The car, which was originally maroon and Burgundy colored, has been sanded and primed and is ready to be repainted. The interior is a bit aged and discolored from sun wear and the drivers seat has a few cigarette burns, and would best be described as in fair condition. All trim and moldings are cleaned and repaired and are chrome colored. The original radio system was removed and has been replaced with an after-market AM/FM radio and CD player which is operational. Exhaust system, calipers, rotors and rear drums were replaced since 2015. The engine and transmission were rebuilt in 2004 engine and tranny, and have approximately 35k miles since. The engine runs good and strong, but there is a small leak in the crossover exhaust pipe. Radiator has been replaced and is in good running condition. New fuel tank. All wheels have spoked hubcaps, but the tires are nearing their mileage limits and will need replacing in the near future. Temperature gauge is improperly calibrated (fixed sensor, its a ghost in the machine). All trims, moldings and hubcaps are removed for purposes of repainting the car but are available and will be turned over with the car upon sale.
