Up for sale is my personally owned and iconic 2001 Mercedes black CL 500 with approximately 167,000 original Miles on her that with a little work can be made into the pristine $110,000 vehicle it once was or a phenomenal parts car. I have owned this outstanding luxury vehicle for almost 5 years and it is the pinnacle of a Mercedes Elegantly Style Coupe with both magnificent styling and performance. This gorgeous vehicle is being relisted because the last buyer wanted to finance the car over 2 years and had no money to complete this transaction, so if you bid bid to win and have all financing in place according to the auction details under the payments tab. This car has been maintained throughout its life, with all Mercedes Service done at Mercedes Certified Dealerships and at regular intervals and most recently a complete brake job was completed with rotors calipers and pads, and all fluids were changed and a tune up was completed, 2 C02 Sensors were changed and a new water pump was installed only 3k miles ago. Additionally, the car’s suspension was completely overhauled and a new tandem power steering pump was installed only 500 miles ago at a cost of over $2500.00 The entire power train is exemplary of this Mercedes and has tremendous acceleration and shifting and all electronic accessories in every way shape and form work on this marvelous automobile. The car runs and drives phenomenally and has no check engine lights or any leaks whatsoever. Even though mechanically the car is sound, the body took a hit in the rear left rear corner panel and that will have to be addressed, although the door jam and door were not affected, for the right body man this will be a simple repair. The rear windows after the hit developed a short whereby they have in the down position and as a result both rear window motors and regulators will need to be replaced, and even though the car was covered, there was a slight rain water intrusion to the rear seats which, although complete have some surface damage. The electrical system works for the most, as does the factory Navigation and drivers accessories for the most part , but a thorough check out of the rear seating and computer controls will be the responsibility of the new owner. The tires are in good condition and have approximately 20% tread life left and the AMG Chrome Rims are worth alone $2000.00 The front interior is ok as the passenger seat is excellent but the drivers seat, seat area needs a seat bottom and it will be excellent. Besides the obvious rear quarter hit the body is very very clean with no rust on the surface or anywhere on the undercarriage, since this car was a Los Angeles West Coast Car, with no salt or snow in its history at all. I would repair this vehicle but I have too many projects now, and a lack of space and for insurance cost purposes I am letting her go with NO RESERVE! With a little maintenance and care this originally priced $110,000 vehicle can be brought back to her original luster or be an amazing parts car that you can acquire here at a fraction of the cost of individual parts.
