Up for sale is a very nice one owner 2001 Mitsubishi Montero Limited that I purchased to replace my wife's suburban. We were thinking of downsizing and getting better fuel economy. We decided to keep the suburban as my wife has driven it for years and it has become part of the family. We had a Montero Limited like this one many years ago and had no issues with it. We gave it to our daughter and she still drives it with no issues to this day. These are great trucks. Very heavy duty and great suspension. This truck was a one owner vehicle that was used primarily to take their two children to school and back and for family vacations. It has been garaged and very well cared for, as evidenced by it's condition. I looked at many of these before I decided on this one. The miles are higher at 216,000, but it runs and drives beautiful. This Montero is fully loaded and has several dealer added factory options including: Mitsubishi front bug guardMitsubishi side window shadesMitsubishi rear painted spoilerMitsubishi Chrome door handle trimMitsubishi deluxe running boards Interior is very nice. Factory optional leather upholstery is in very nice condition with minimal wear (had seat covers on it). Factory optional wood package including steering wheel. Very large sunroof working properly. I do not think the 3rd row seat was ever used. Beautiful dash and trim with no cracking or sun damage. Heated front seats and rear A/C and optional dual climate control working perfect. The exterior is a blue/green color over gold. Very nice original paint with only a couple small dings/scratches. The lower trim does have some minor scratches/chips (see photos) Nice wheels with only minor aging. All in all, very pretty truck and draws admires. Mechanically runs smooth and strong. It had a new timing belt, tensioner, timing belt idler bearings and water pump (less than 1000 miles ago). New radiator installed recently. Ice cold A/C system will freeze you out. Drives strong and tight, more like 60K miles... All options working properly and comes with factory keys and remotes. Comes with original owner's manual package and window sticker. The bad:Tires are a little thin on the edges (may need tires soon)Power antenna is not functioning. This top of the line SUV is rare, unique, and ready to drive anywhere. Really a nice example for it's age. If you have ever wanted one of these, this might just be the one. Really a SUV that anybody would be proud to drive.
