I bought this at an auction as a project vehicle - the motor was already in pieces from previous owner trying to replace timing himself (big mistake). I figured on just putting another motor in. I did NOT pay attention when I bought it that a few parts were missing, like the battery box (not a big deal), the air filter box and tube (a little bit of a big deal), and the PCM (engine computer - a huge deal). So I put a used motor in it, and got some used parts and new parts, and a used PCM. I figured the PCM could be programmed to the vehicle - not so says MINI Cooper dealership. It must have a new PCM - to the tune of another $1700.00.I decided that was too much, so gave up. I was able to return the used motor and a lot (not all) of the parts.This is a good looking, low mileage car for a 2006 model. Would be a great parts car. I had pulled the headliner out to have it recovered but put it back in when gave up project. Transmission is in car but since I have not driven it I don't know its condition. Wiring harness is complete. There are 2 new axle shafts with the car ( I could not return those). There a couple of other new (expensive) parts I am selling in separate listings (the air tube that goes from airbox to throttle body, and the hoses that run from motor to the heater core).Interior looks good (except for stripped headliner). While I had a battery in it, I worked all power accessories I could - the power windows work, the sunroof works, radio works, fan blower works, power trunk release works. car does come with one key fob.
