Please note..bike will not be available for pick up until after 7/1/2018These are sometimes called 1973 1/2 models because this is the first long wheel base models...This was a one family owned bike..the person I got it from received it after his Father passed away who bought new. He got it two years ago and has put less that a 1000 miles on it since. When he got it he rebuilt the carbs, installed a new sealed battery and removed the Avon fairing that his Dad had installed by the dealer(shown in the pictures and available to the winning bidder). I have owned dozens of these bikes and have never owned a red one...they are that rare. The paint, as well as pretty much everything on the bike is original. There are a few chips but would be easy touch up...the paint is a brighter red than the pictures show, no fading at all! Comes with factory tool tools and air pump...even the really rare BMW shop towel! The bike starts and runs excellent as you might expect...only known issues are the mufflers have been cut at the end(they sound great) and the front signals do not work and the tach needle recently fell off...Engine, frame and title numbers all match...call 618-571-2800 if you want to talk about it(recommended)...no shipping but I will help load for you or your shipper......15 day storage at no charge as long as the bike is paid for in the time frame noted...Please look at pictures close and ask questions....I buy-sell
