1985 Alfa Romeo GTV6 Same car as Bond steals in Octopussy. Drive it as you restore it. Don't see many of these cars cruising the streets...turns a lot of heads. In great condition for age. Needs someone that does not have too many projects and wants to make it as good as new. Items this car will need: Drive shaft has new center donut and replaced carrier bearing, needs shaft aligned...not put back on in right orientation, so it vibrates at idle. I did not mark it when I removed it and replaced the guibo disk. Rear Brakes can use caliper rebuild/ rotors turned. Good cleaning and detailing in engine compartment.Front seats do not match color: seat covers on them. Tan seats up front from a donor alfa gtv6, black interior everywhere else. Mileage is beyond mechanical limits - reads 19,240 - should be 119,240. Just noticed in picture speedo showing car doing 30 mph at stand still. Speedo dial is slightly bent and drags a little on face. I have another speedometer for it. Changes out with 4 screws and cable in back/ wiring harness connector. Odometer/ Speedometer/ tachometer all gauges working. Runs and pulls strong, does not burn or leak oil. Fast car! Tires have tread, but are getting old. Classic Vehicle Tags and Hagerty Insurance make this inexpensive to own. This is a great car to clean and make perfect. small areas need minor attention for surface rust, hatch top area, front near headlight and driver door sill. Easy fix: sand, treat and paint. one small hole in door sill. bottom of car and jacking points are rust free. battery box in trunk can use some attention to make perfect...otherwise a very solid, smooth shifting car! I've had many Alfa's throughout the years...this one is a great example of the GTV6 and will not disappoint. I can send more pictures. Modest reserve - will make someone extremely happy.
