1962 VW Karmann Ghia Original Factory Convertible that was customized into a 912 type soft rear window targa top many years ago. Prior owner rebuilt engine, transmission and suspension approx 2000 miles ago. Needs finishing. Targa top frame secures to front windshield by way of the convertible latch mount mechanism. Some surface rust on body with minimal rust in trunk floor (see pic). Chassis pan and heater channels in good condition. Fenders flared. Locking hood latch. Vehicle was owned by the same California owner since 1970. California title. Boxes of extra components, new carpets, sound proofing, extra door, etc. Interior seats in very good condition. Factory Original color is Sea Blue (see pic). Mileage is unknown. Could be changed back into the original convertible with minimal work if desired.
