1965 Triumph Spitfire in running condition. Great restoration project , not currently road worthy. Needs complete wiring harness and some other details but a solid frame and drivetrain to start with. Fires up without smoking and idles fine. Shifts through gears and stops fine. Only drove it off trailer and around lot then into garage. Found a different vehicle that caught my attention (and purchased) this week so putting this project in the hands of some other enthusiast. Priced cheap with no reserve to help buyer get this classic back on the road where it belongs. Body is very presentable for the price as is frame and floors. I would have avoided it if rotted. This particular car not subject to the infamous tin worm that plagues most of these. Not a turn key Spitfire but with a little mechanical and electrical know how you could be on the road in a classic convertible with minimal investment. Convertible top goes with deal. Have clear NY registration(No titles in 1965),true mileage unknown.Car sold as is and described as resto project not inspection ready. Will store vehicle a predetermined reasonable amount of time to assist with buyers shipping arrangements which are at his/her expense.
