This is a 1997 Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer 4X4 SUV. No reserve auction. This seems to run and drive good, has decent tires, brakes working, etc... However, it does need some minor stuff fixed. Not all of the power windows work. Sometimes the turn signals don't work. (Maybe a loose wire? Bad flasher?) Don't have time to fix. Our Landlord is selling our rental house, so we have to move. It has a clear title signed by previous seller which we have and you will get a bill of sale from us. (I have done this before, it's always been accepted). The tags show expired on the vehicle as of 1/18, however there are NO back fees due! We already paid the fees to renew the tags PRIOR to the expiration date and they are on deposit at the DMV. You will, of course, have to pay your own transfer fee and sales tax for your transaction and get the vehicle smogged. I have not tried to smog it yet but it had a valid registration prior. As with any older vehicle like this it may or may not require adjustments or repairs to pass smog. That I cannot warranty. Lots of mile on it, probably had engine rebuild at some point but don't know. Doesn't smoke, no known leaks! Considering all of this I have priced the vehicle accordingly. Keep in mind you are getting a running drivable vehicle for very little money. We drove it up to the mountains where we live and it did not overheat so the motor should be okay. I have made some minor repairs and was fixing it up but because we have to move I need to sell it. The new home where we are moving doesn't have room for 3 cars! The windshield and all glass is intact. The drivers mirror housing has a temporary repair, the mirror glass is intact. (I saw a new one on ebay for around $20). The body isn't bad. No major dents although the passenger side has a long scratch and there are a few scratches here and there. The paint is peeling and worn mostly on the roof. (I was just going to repaint the roof) and the finish on the hood is very dull. (don't know if it could be buffed) Realistically, it needs a new paint job if you want it to look super nice. It has a rebuilt battery and one of the torsion bar links has been replaced prior. All in all, it's amazing you can get a drivable car this cheap! You can use it on a farm, fix it up and drive it, take it to another state or country or whatever. $250 deposit via paypal due at end of auction. Balance due in cash when you pick the vehicle up. See payment terms. Deposit is non refundable. Sale is final. It also has what I believe is the square Reese type frame mounted trailer hitch already installed. And, I have a few extra parts for it that I will try to find and give you if you buy the vehicle. Expect to spend $$ on repairs as you would on any old vehicle in this price range. We paid way more for it than the opening bid and spent $$ on some repairs, so my loss is your gain! We do NOT need any help selling it, we will not ship it. No scams please!
