Vehicle Detail
I purchased this car with a salvage title after a minor accident in the front left side. I replaced the front bumper, hood, grill and both headlights. The vehicle passed the inspection by Florida Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (FHSMV), Department of Motorist Services and was issued a rebuilt title. As you can see from the pictures the car now looks great inside and out. Before pictures provided upon request. I also replaced the Battery with a brand new one as well as replaced the spark plugs, coils, fuel filter and air filters. Plenty of meat left on all 4 brakes and tires and the car runs and drives just fine. The car does still need an oil change and transmission fluid service. The transmission filter kit is in the trunk and included in the sale but you will still need to purchase the sleeves and fluid for the transmission and the oil and filter for the engine... Sleeves: https://www.ebay.com/itm/173236036021Fluid: https://www.ebay.com/itm/151526885036 Please watch this video to get a better understanding of what the transmission service entails on this BMW vehicle: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2g-5uY_P7uA BMW states this car has lifetime transmission fluid but that is simply not true. You can also google "ZF mechatronic sleeve" or search E65 E66 in the forums like bimmerfest.com or https://www.bimmerforums.com/forum/showthread.php?1580444-E66-750Li-Transmission-Fault-(intermittent) etc... The transmission itself is pretty much bulletproof and is not damaged, it just needs new fluid and the sleeves/seals replaced. A wheel speed sensor was also replaced: https://www.ebay.com/itm/271597246133 and although the car brakes perfectly fine, occasionally the DSC and ABS lights come on and the same code comes up on the scanner. This requires a technician with the correct BMW software to either program the sensor or tell if something else is wrong with it. Other than that the car is a great car and you'll end up with a beautiful BMW 750li for way below market value. All BMW with this age and mileage will have all the same issues unless they performed the exact same service requirements and even if you pay twice as much for the same car and it will still need this service sooner or later. These cars are good for hundreds of thousands of miles with proper maintenance. Feel free to ask any questions and come by and take it for a test drive just message me. This vehicle is also for sale locally and this listing may be ended at anytime if item is no longer available.
