Vehicle Detail
2001 Volkswagen Passat GLX 4 Motion wagon. This car is painted black. The vin number is : WVWLH63B31E007020. The car has 85,348 original miles on it. It features a 2.8 Liter V6 engine. The interior is black and features heated leather seats. I am the second owner of the car and have had it since 2007. This car is a mechanics special and it needs some work and attention and is being sold as-is. This automobile has very low original miles and, it is the very rare sporty GLX 4 motion edition which is hard to find. The motor and transmission are both strong and running great. The exterior body looks straight, but the paint is fading in some spots, mostly on the hood and the back door, and these areas have been roughly repainted. The originalback window of the vehicle busted out and has been replaced with a plexi-glass window. The inside interior seats look very good, mostly, except for the driver's seat. The interior headlinerhas been completely removed. The dashboard looks very clean and is in good shape. The car battery is brand new, and the car starts up and runs well, but it has some issues that need to be fixed. The main problemis that there is some issue with the driver's side front tire. It does not seem to spin properly. When youdrive the car you can hear a slight noise and you can feel that it isn't turning quite right. It is more noticeable at faster speeds like 30 mph plus. When you drive the car under 30 mph or so the car feels and handles normally.I do not know exactly what the cause of this is. I have been told that it could be the wheel bearings. I have alsobeen told that it might be sticky worn brake calipers too. I am not sure, and I am not very mechanical. An ABS brakesystem light does flash on the dashboard, but the brakes function fine. As far as I know the ABS system has been disabledby my mechanic. He could not stop the light from flashing, though, and he said that it can only be reset by a volkswagen mechanicwith a special tool. The interior of the vehicle has some issues which need to be fixed too. The driver's side window has slid off of its track, and is still inside of the door. The part where the window mounts onto the track where the window goes up and down has broke and will need to be replaced and fixed. I also took the interior door panel off and have not put it back on. I still have the interior door panel and all the parts and will include them. This is a good car for someone who likes to work on cars, and it would be a good car to fix up and resell. The engine and transmission are very strong and the car has very low original miles. The car has a Pioneer CD Radio and it works excellent and sounds great. The A.C. system works very well and it blows plenty of cold air. The back seats fold down, and there is plenty of storage room for light hauling. The title is clean and clear andthe car is currently registered and insured in my name. I am driving a motorcylce right now, so I no longer need the car and have decided to sell it. If you have any questions or would like to see the car in person and test drive it please contact me. Thanks for looking.
