2006 Saab 9-3 Convertible - 158k miles in good condition and a great price! So the car has to go… Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. This vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. It is as beautiful a car as you will see. It comes with TWO (2) blade keys and fobs. If you drive a Saab, you know why it is great to have a spare key as they are difficult to copy. This is a 2006 Saab 9-3 Convertible with the desirable manual transmission. I would rate the exterior of this Saab to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this is a good looking convertible. It looks to be finished in Steel Gray Metallic with gray leather and a black soft top. The finish has a mile-deep shine and looks as smooth as glass. As with any older vehicle, please expect to find a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. However, there is nothing worth mentioning on this super clean 9-3. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and trunk all open and close easily. All the trim and cladding is present and shows well. All the glass and lenses are intact. The factory soft top looks to be in excellent condition and shows no visible wear. The factory alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in nice rubber with good tread all around – two are Firelli with good tread and two are Michelin Premier tires less than a year old. Pride in ownership shows throughout this Saab. Please take your time and check out each of the photos to see how clean this Saab looks inside and out. I would also rate the interior of this Saab to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight. The dash and headliner are clean, too. The carpets are clean and full looking throughout the interior. The power windows, locks and mirrors all work properly. The power convertible top raises and lowers smoothly with no issues. The audio system is original and sounds great. There are steering wheel audio controls, too. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. The air conditioner is working effectively. I can verify that the heater is working as it should, as well as the heated seats. All the displays work properly and are easy to read. The trunk is spacious and clean. Again, pride in ownership shows throughout this Saab. Mechanically, this 9-3 appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 2.0L turbocharged engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are good for an older car. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Steering and braking feel good, too. The engine keeps perfect temperature and feels strong. The turbo spools up quickly and makes good power. There have been no idiot lights on while I have been driving around town. The clutch engages smoothly and does not slip or chatter. Gear changes through the five-speed manual transmission are smooth and precise, as they should be. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints. It is my understanding this Saab was a NEW AUDI TRADE that has been dealer serviced its whole life.
