Vehicle Detail
https://www.facebook.com/TorinoBuildI bought this car in 2009 intending to have it rebuilt for one of my sons. I trusted a shop in Willmar, MN to do the work. He broke that trust, shut down communication and after giving him $21,000 to finish the car, he was thrown out of his shop and stole my car. It was recovered by law enforcement with many parts missing. I think he sold them. All the framework, floor pans and torque boxes have been re-welded and/or reinforced. All rust has been repaired. The engine bay is beautiful. The motor is incomplete, glass is gone, interior only has seat frames. The frame for the top is there, no motor, no fabric. A Talladega spoiler was added as well as a Mustang style bar. The drivetrain is there, all stock. Remember, this was being done for me. You can undo whatever you want. The Vin shows a 289 but it has a 302 in it. True GT car. I live in Las Vegas but the car is currently stored indoors in Prior Lake, MN. The pictures are very accurate. It will be difficult to show the car, though not impossible. The last 3 pictures are the current condition of the car.Torino BuildReplace (4) floorboards suppliedMisc. patches throughout the underbody rust Repair structural supports (seats, Rear leaf supports, inner rockers) Square tubing 2.5 inches with ΒΌ inch wall x 10 feet (used to repair inner rockers Seam sealer entire underbody/ trunk/ interior Raptor Bedliner kit (2) 150+ tax time two Quarter Panels front 250 x2 Quarter Panels rear 175 x 2 Installation of quarter panels (4 pieces) Repair rust (rear decklid cowl, Decklid, Decklid seal channel) Repair rust (dr door inner shell, Passenger door shell) Repair large dent drivers lower rocker (bottom out damage) Repair large rust hole Fender lower Repair rust areas on the engine firewall Repair rust Battery tray front passenger side Repair prior damage to the front passenger side (someone replaced front rt inner front fender well poorly) Seam seal engine bay and firewall) all components removed brake lines, wiring, booster, etc.) Engine compartment repainted (OEM semi-gloss chassis enamel) 302 engine degreased twice/ pressure washed C4 transmission degreased twice/ pressure washed Painted the engine (Ford Blue enamel) A quart of Ford Blue enamel with hardener 2:1 ratio Mechanical (mate the transmission/ engine) (bell housing bolts missing/ torque converter bolts missing) Mechanical (install water pump housing, alt. brackets, A/C brackets, Power steering brackets) Bolts missing for engine mounts (4) 9/16 one half inch, (2) 5/8 4 inch New transmission mount Four bolts missing for transmission cross member Remove valve covers.
