This well-maintained 1976 BMW R90/6 has been the pride and joy of my life. I always imagined I would take it to Europe and travel the continent at some point. Hence, all the original traveling accessories. However, I just learned that I'm going to be a father, so I'm replacing my pride and joy with something even better. This bike has been meticulously maintained. The previous owner was an engineer himself, who took it to Max BMW for all tunes up and routine maintenance. Since it became mine, I've been taking it to Hermy's BMW for everything. The last maintenance was done in November 2017 in order to prepare it for winter storage. The bike is in excellent working condition as well as cosmetically. Though, it is roughly 42 years old, so there are some expected wear and tear from use. For instance, a dent on the muffler, rips on seat and scratches on the cylinder head. All are clearly displayed in the pictures. Max BMW put a new paint coat on the bike, same color though. Almost all parts and accessories are original and clearly marked with "Made in W. Germany". This includes the extra set of original BMW R90/6 carburetors, 2 tool kits (one being more extensive than the other for longer trips), and 2 original traveling luggage with keys. At the moment, to the best of my knowledge, the right carburetor is the only thing that needs to be taken care of for the upcoming season. The float needs to be replaced. Please take care of it.
