LAST YEAR OF THE TRUE HIGHBOY! Has crankcase ventilation problem , to much pressure in crankcase , causing oil out breather on valve cover What you see is what you get with this original old truck. That is the original paint -. no rust repair or bondo in this body , this is solid! Interior is also very nice and original ,, it drives awesome with loads of power , and everything works clear down to the window squirters for the windshield , this is even the original seat , this was the explorer package and you dont see to many with interiors like these. , I know the is a hard package to come by so be a little different and get what know one else has , carpet and floor mat plus headliner are all original . . The Explorer Edition was the loaded model back in 1977. Everything works and works great , this truck is a joy to drive , watch the video , this big ole truck puts out some power , im guessing the motor is putting out somewhere between 300 to 350 hp . The 400 cu in V8 still runs like a beast . It has the c6 transmission and shifts like it should.. Has a nice lift that is not overkill , it sits just right . Hei upgraded ignition with 140 one wire amp alternator and a 35 gallon single tank that will take you anywhere you need , , its cammed and has really good torque , flow tube headers and with dynomax flow thrus , , explorer package with trac loc rear , warn hubs , brand new edlebrock carb that is dialed in perfect , plus I have all paperwork for work done , , this is a neat truck and rare package dont let it pass you by with a little work it will be a great truck , it has lots of money put in it and good parts , if you stay out of the pedal you can drive it like it is it runs great , - ready to be a weekend warrior OR every day local driver.
