Vehicle Detail
1969 GTO 4 Speed- VIN (242379Z130463)Paint Code: G2 (Antique Gold)- original color w/black cordova top. Built in Fremont, CA. Sold new in Beaverton, OR. I bought the car out of Portland, OR in 2000. This is an original (stock) GTO with full (aftermarket)RAM AIR III components added. I have owned the car for 18 years, has been meticulously taken care of, and garage kept since I have owned it. Many new and replaced mechanical items over the years; brakes, drums, rotors, clutch, rebuilt alternator, starter, radiator replaced with a 4 core, flex fan, hoses, belts, fan shroud, 3 chamber exhaust-2 ¼” stainless steel Flow Master, GTO tips, front end partswere replaced with new high performancepolyurethane/poly-graphite bushings (does squeak), front and rear coil springs, front and rear shocks, and new hood hinges. Great care was taken to keep an original appearance of a RAM AIR III car. Rear spoiler (from a 69 Judge) wasadded, painted to match, and fits perfectly. The car was painted black with a high quality paint job before I owned it, has a very straight body, and no rust. Paint does have a few blemishes, a few minor cracks in the endura front bumper (common), and one ding on passenger side door. Interior is original and has not been replaced (driver side front seat has wear). Carpet was replaced before I owned it. The dash pad and windshield have no cracks. Black vinyltop (“cordova”) is in perfect condition. Rally II wheels (15x7), BF Goodrich radial T/A tires (235/60/R15), and hood mounted tachometer does work. Has the original radio and the dash has not been modified for an aftermarket stereo. 6 disc CD player w/remote in the glove box and a Craig 8 track player mounted under the glove box. The amp/equalizer may need wiring redone or fuse replaced. This car would be a great candidate for an original restoration and needs the attention of a true muscle car enthusiast. PHS documented car (no air conditioning)400 ci 6.5 L (numbers matching)-stamped (WT)Rock Chester Quadra-Jet 4 barrel carburetor48-cylinder heads (correct for manual transmission option)D-port RAM AIR III cast iron exhaust manifolds (on car when I bought)4 speed Muncie (M20 or M21) rebuilt in 2004- I believe M20. Shifts smooth.Hurst T-handle shift knob (aftermarket)- would exchange w/original black ball if wanted.10 bolt 3:23 rear end (1970 GTO) replaced the 3:55 stock rear end-(non-posi-traction) 20% due within 5 working days. Remaining balance due within 10 days of auction close. Buyer will need to pay and arrange for shipping. I will assist as much as possible for a smooth pick up.
