READ THE WHOLE AD BEFORE CONTACTING ME. The Jeep needs frame repair. It has typical TJ Frame rust. See pictures. You are encouraged to come see the Jeep in person before bidding. Ask questions before bidding. When I bought this Jeep I was mislead on the condition of the frame. I will not mislead or lie to anyone. Read my whole ad and look at the pictures. It is a beautiful attention getting Jeep. 2001 Jeep Wrangler 4.0 6cyl, 32rh Automatic Transmission. 156,000 miles. Runs and drives excellent. A/C and Heat both work. It does need a new blower motor resistor only high speed works. The body has no rust. It does have a few scratches and paint chips. But I feel it is in very good condition for a 2001. Some of the extra's All parts below were installed less then a 1000 miles ago. BF Goodrich 315/75/16 Mud terrain tires new wheels were also installed at the same time as the tires. Metalcloak tube fenders with flares that were professionally painted. Dana 44 rear and Dana 30 front 4.88 gears. Trutrac locker installed in the rear axle at that time. Axle u-joints replaced in front axle along with news seals in both front and rear axle. 2" Zone budget boost with new zone shocks. Tube doors with mirrors as seen in the photo. I have the receipt for the axle work. It was over $2000.00 The Jeep needs frame repair or replacement. I know of two spots that are in need of attention for sure. They are both pictured. Driver's side above the rear trailing arm mount. Front passenger's side under the trialering arm mount. It has typical TJ Frame rust. In my opinion I think it's fine for daily driving a while. But I would defiantly consider getting it fixed before taking it off roading. The frame has already been repaired under the skid plate. It will need some more repair at the trailering arm brackets. (See pictures). Safety T cap sells the repair parts if you want to tackle the job yourself. I have heard good things about a few local shops to me - Freedom Fab and Red Rock offroad both came highly recommended to me by other Jeep owners that had there frames fixed. If I do not sell my Jeep I will probably take it to one of them. It has a slight rattle coming from underneath when backing up in reverse. Sounds like a heat shield or muffler heat shield. I'm just tring to name everything I can think of so there are no surprises for the new owner. The Jeep was originally had a manual Transmission in it. I swapped in an Automatic transmission last summer trying to help making it easier to drive with my bad back. The clutch pedal is still mounted in the Jeep if a person has the desire to switch it back. Why am I selling it after dumping all this money into it? I recently re injured my back. I just don't think it will ever heal enough to enjoy off roading again. I have almost what I'm listing the buy it now for in aftermarket parts. Fender, sliders wheels,tires ,tube doors and axles.
