1969 Porsche 911E targa in need of restoration. No reserve, looking for a good home. No motor or trans, see below for details. The rear torsion tube is straight and solid with only surface rust. The rear torsion bars and radius arms are present, the front suspension and rack and pinion are present but rusty. The original front sway bar is also with the car and nice. The windshield frame was cleanly cut with a saw jaw? The upper portion is with the car and an easy repair. This car needs a complete floor replacement but is straight and sound structurally and a great candidate for restoration. An S optioned, 911E longhood Targa is quite valuable with or without it's original motor. On Apr-02-18 at 15:26:51 PDT, seller added the following information: I forgot, also included with the miscellaneous original parts mentioned; *The original airbox in excellent condition *Misc engine parts: oil cooler, cam housing covers, original stainless steel muffler and other original parts. Misc labeled hardware (bolts/screws) *The original rear seats in nice condition, the original horn button (bat wing) and other misc original parts in boxes. The high bidder (mar-ysqfttrt) backed out of the original auction sale,It is back on for auction again. On Apr-08-18 at 17:07:15 PDT, seller added the following information: The original 911 E gauges (only missing speedo) are also included in the sale. The wire harness is complete and can be cleaned up and used. The original rear center panel, longhood and one door remain with the car. The rear bumpers listed as included is a mistake. These are not from the 69 911E but an earlier car we are restoring. Please read my description carefully as to what is included with this 911E auction. Please do not expect a part of the car to be included that is not listed. The title is clean and clear, these 911E targas are rare and very valuable. The special order Crystal blue increases this value as there were even fewer made.
