Van is in White House, TN (Just north of Nashville) 2007 Chevy Uplander with BROKEN automatic transmission.Selling AS-IS. Engine is guaranteed to run. The engine was running fine when the transmission failed. I took the transmission pan off to change the fluid (hoping new fluid would help it). What I found was a broken piece in the pan that came off what looks like a metal ring that grips one of the synchronizers or something of that sort. (I've rebuilt a couple manual transmissions before, but never an automatic, so I'm not familiar with all the moving parts in an automatic.) My cousin owns this van. She parked the van one evening, and when she went to go out the next morning, it wouldn't go anywhere when she put it into gear. So I'm guessing the piece that is broken must have broken as she tried to take off and may belong to first gear. The inside of the van is in bad shape (it's been through quite few years of young children). The back hatch door is crunched and won't latch shut, and I think one of the two sliding doors may not open. *The DVD player still works.*2 New Michelin tires on the rear of the van (only a few months old when the tranny broke). Approx. Mileage is 225,000. As far as I know, the title is clear.
