Vehicle Detail
1969 Camaro convertible DOES NOT RUN OR DRIVE! I bought this from the original owner a couple years ago I have the original window sticker and protecto plate. Car was originally Cortez Silver with black interior V8 Standard shift. Clear title in my name all hidden vins match Car is set up for BBC 400 turbo has RS fenders and tail pan. Car has a ton of new sheet metal all was installed while on a jig. New 1/4s, wheel houses, tail pan, trunk pan, full floor, doors, trunk drop offs, rockers, firewall, fenders, inner fenders. both valances, core support, cowl panel, dash and probably some other I've forgotten. lines up pretty good what isn't new has been blasted and is in primer nice rust free car to start your build with. Bottom and firewall are painted semi glass black. Has original cowl hood and trunk lid that need to be blasted but look to be good. Convertible frame is rust free could be recovered but I would go ahead and blast and paint it as well. Subframe has been blasted and painted semi gloss black new BMR tubular Arms, BMR subframe connectors, body bushings, front springs, rear lowering springs, new shackles, hardware, new MOOG steering components and CPP 400 series steering box. Freshly rebuilt 12 bolt rea rend 3.73 posi, new Richmond gears, Auburn posi, new seals and bearings Has later style 396/375 tach and gauges in 4 speed console No motor trans or headers included will be rolling on 4 Pontiac rally wheels and junk tires. Aluminum wheels not included. Seats are what appear to be original drivers seat is starting to split at seam maybe could be repaired or recovered. The rest of the seats are driver quality as are the rear door panels. All side windows and regulators are included. No windshield. I think all the window stainless/chrome is there but the two top pieces that the convertible top attaches to is junk. I have the original wiring that came in the car however I would buy new if it was me. No grille or headlight assemblies Original bumpers that need rechromed original bumper jack New body bolt kit and boxes of parts the original owner removed I'm sure I've forgot a few things car is available for inspection( If I were buying one I would want to see it in person especially on a 50 year old car) any questions feel free to ask this is a nice project with the worst part over with.
