Air Conditioning21.HD Lamp Delay22.Heavy Duty Battery This GTO was purchased new in Minneapolis, MN then was sold in 1972 to a couple from Beverly Hills, CA. The car is very rust free, and candidly, restoration free. This goat was only been driven a real 80,000 miles and aside from one repaint, has had absolutely zero restoration work on it, which makes for a genuine, unmolested canvas to enjoy. The interior is all original and in spectacular shape, the only caveat is the 1998 CD player and speakers that were installed. The top is original, as is all the body panels. Excellent door shell to skin definition, no swelling of the rocker panel pinch weld, spot welds clearly defined on the bottom of the quarter panels (indicating no bondo) The date codes are present on both rear 1/4 panels. These are a 3 digit code that references the month and the day of the month the car was assembled at Fisher.The point is, it's very solid and unmolested. Floors, trunk drop offs, trunk, ect. are all rust and scale free. The top, while original and date coded to the car is still very nice and serviceable. The car runs and drives like new, with it's original engine, YA code, VIN on timing cover and drivers side rail of the TH-400. No smoke on start up, ect. The only work that was ever done to the motor and trans was a reseal, a valve job, carb rebuild, and regular maintenance. What doesn't work? Everything works! Cruise with the A/C on and the top down with the cruise control on! What does it need? Well...really...nothing...for a survivor car. The paint is older, and shows nice...but...it's older...the interior...its 48 years old with the original carpets and mats...no rips, tears...ect. Why mess with it?
