Hi! are you ready for a sweet joyride? Been stuck in shitty weather for the last 5 months? Spring IS UPON US, you definitely need some exhilleration in your life. Ever drive a corvette? NO?! well damn, here's your chance to own a straight up road rocket that really sends the panties flyin. Big time corvette enthusiast? well hey there, nice to meet you, here's a great example of a C5 that will light up your eyes, and ruin the way your neighbors and friends think about you. Up for sale here is my fathers pride and joy, his 1998 Chevy Corvette. The car is in excellent mechanical condition, paint would rate a 7.5 out of 10... minor swirls not many deep scratches... shows really well. GOOD = VERY Meticulously maintained. Washed and waxed, garage kept, 65 yr old owned this car since 50k miles... Oil changes regularly, no drips on the floor, all seals are good, headlights work and pop up as they should, body lines are straight and gaps are tight. transmission shifts well. This car has NEVER seen snow, and has BARELY, if ever seen rain since he owned it. Truthfully driven about 1x a week for the last 5 years during summer only. Tires are in inspection range, the AC Panel works perfectly (common issue) recently replaced harmonic balancer (was wobbly, as they all are) has an aftermarket exhaust (pypes) stock cats. Aftermarket intake (K&N, I believe) other than that the car is bone stock as far as performance modifications are concerned. BAD = Typical driver bolster wear, simple fix. The AC Needs a yearly charge, and currently the Column lock solenoid would need a replacement (issue is, says "service column lock" on the dash, but will go away after you press reset) it does have the column lock bypass module as well. Dad is moving onto a different car, so please take this one off his hands as he needs it to go to a good home! Car is for sale locally as well... so act quickly as the auction may end without warning.
