Vehicle Detail
If you're looking for a special bike you've found it. This bike has 4500 original miles, original paint, matching number bike, is so clean you can eat off it, and runs and drives fantastic. It is not a restored or molested bike which is so much more typical. I've owned her for 16 years, and it has been taken care of all that time by Steve Gilbin of European Motorcycles (recently retired) for maintenance. I'm the 3rd owner and caretaker. I am a collector, enthusiast, and I baby everything I own. The title is in my name and clean. The paint is in remarkably brilliant condition and the red is bright and not faded. A few touch ups in a few places but just remarkable survivor. Bike appears to have always been garaged, and has certainly been garaged for the last 16 years I've owner her. Only things that I've ever changed out is the mufflers, new tires, ignition switch, added side mirrors, one front turn signal, one rear turn signal replacement, and the fuel petcocks (kept the old ones if you want them). I also added the handlebar choke which was a fantastic upgrade. The bike kicks and starts great, idles great, and drives beautiful with great power. No surprise considering the low low miles and the exceptional care. I've never seen a nicer example and everyone who looks at this bike is amazed it is 39 years old. Included with the sale is the original owners manual. Buyer responsible for shipping arrangements but I'm happy to meet up with a shipping company locally. If you're local or can get out here, I urge you to come see for yourself. This is a vintage bike so I can't give a warranty, but happy to send you a video of it running. I can store the bike for a few weeks until you arrange shipping but I do require a 750 dollar deposit upon close of the auction and Cashiers check or cash for the balance. I've set a reserve that is much lower than examples I've seen sell that are much lesser bikes than this beauty. I hate to sell her but I've got other priorities I have to meet. Just got her ready for summer with a brand new battery and fresh plugs, and a nice 25 mile ride. All ready to go! Feel free to message me with questions and I'll try to answer as soon as possible.
