Vehicle Detail
Buy it now of $50k includes the HRE wheels with tires, these were 10 grand! I am selling my extremely clean 348 Spider. The car is selling for no reserve - high bid takes it !! I am only selling it because I need to pay for a car I just bought from a friend to help him out. I am by no means a photographer and my crappy iPhone pics do not do the car justice. Feel free to arrange to check it out for yourself if you are nearby or you’re welcome to have a 3rd party do so on your behalf. I have always been a huge fan of the 348 since it came out, as to me it was the cool looking 8 cylinder little brother of the Testarossa! I have driven this car over 10,000 miles in the past 15 years of ownership and have never ever had a single problem. Last year when it hit the 30k mark I had Ferrari of San Antonio do all the services including the engine out timing belt service. (Photo of engine out included in pics) I had planned on doing a clutch then but was told the current clutch still had good life and didn’t need replaced yet. The car runs great, shifts great, and looks amazing. We get several 348s a month through the shop here and I have only seen 2 cleaner then this one - 1 because it has only 6k miles on it and the other is a Series Speciale that never ever ever leaves the garage. I beg you to come see this car in person ( my wife or I can show it to you pretty much anytime) and see how great the paint, leather, convertible top, etc all look - of course it’s not brand new mint (and yes it has some typical rock chips on it from usage - mainly front bumper ) but it truly is very very nice. Did I mention the wheels don’t have a single scratch or rash, and the tires are only 2 days old with less then 2 miles!!! And the Tubi exhaust SOUNDS AMAZING!!!!!! I will say that the 348 is one of the best sounding 8 cylinder Ferrari’s made in the past 30 years. I bought this Ferrari back in the early 2000s at a local auto auction I was attending in the midwest where I was living. I was told the seller was an insurance company, but the auction wouldn’t (or couldn’t?) disclose many details. word at the auction that day was that it was a theft recovery and supposedly the previous owner had reported it stolen and collected the insurance $$ on it as he was up to something fishy. It had 2 curbed wheels and a dead battery, and I just had to have it!! After buying it I took it to get an oil change, a new battery, a Tubi exhaust , and had the wheels replaced. - IT HAS A CLEAN TITLE , not salvage, not rebuilt - CLEAN. I have included pics of the clean/clear, lien free title and am happy to send more pics if you want. I ran an Autocheck report and see it is showing 3 owners, 2 of which are me ( I had it put into my business name but then titled it later into my personal name). Let me know if you’d like a copy of the report. This isn’t your typical 348 that has the slow down lights on half the time, or won’t shift into 3rd gear without 2 strong hands and a prayer - it’s always ran and drove great and been totally trouble free. Headlights work fine, seat belts work fine, new $400 interstate gel battery installed last month. Another plus I love about the 348 spider is that the top is operated manually instead of the 355/360/430 style that have a bunch of hydraulic pumps that are just waiting to fail and cause expensive drama. Notice how nice the top is, even the rear window is nice and clear - not foggy and distorted as most have gotten. Let me know if you have any questions at all. As I mentioned , use the the 50k buy it now and I will include the custom 3 piece HRE wheels, otherwise I will sell them separately. I included a couple pics of the car with the HRE wheels on it (pics with top up) so you can see how they look. The OEM wheels with the new tires as mentioned are currently on the car. So here’s your chance , you have a Ferrari convertible, manual transmission, red on tan, low miles, recent major service, brand new tires - all for under $50k - hard to go wrong with this. Let me know if you have any questions at all, or would like more pics or info. Please read payment terms prior to bidding/purchase.
