This Civic EX was bought new in 1995 with only 1 owner. It has a clean title in hand, never been in an accident and has had regular maintenance throughout its lifetime. This was my wife's daily drive car until a few weeks ago when we discovered an oil leak. We were told by mechanic that the new oil seal will cost about $35 to replace but will take 8 to 10 hours of labor because they have to drop the transmission to get to the seal. The mechanic checked out the rest of the car and said everything else appears fine. I am not a mechanic and my wife wants a newer car so we are selling this one as is. What we know: Car starts and runs fine except for oil leak. We were told we can still drive it, as is, but have to keep adding oil.Interior looks great in my opinion. It stopped working a couple years ago but brakes work fine and my wife never had any issues without the ABS.Fuel Gauge is stuck on full. My wife just reset the trip odometer and filled up after 320 miles.Has car alarm but remote stopped working and so have not used it in years. Whatever it has needed we did, like oil changes, brakes, exhaust and muffler replacement, etc. If I knew how to drop the transmission and put in the seal then I would even with 285,976 miles.
