My father and I have owned this Jaguar for 40 years... several years ago my father began restorations ( to original specs ) but fell ill with brain lesions and all activity ceased. I have been slowly cleaning the Jag up over the last few months, tinkering when time permits. She is not on the road yet, but the original engine is sound and once the undercarriage is re-installed ( exhaust, brakes, etc... she will once again be road worthy. She has been thoroughly inspected by a diagnostician from Moorspeed as well as a restoration expert who both report her frame is straight, body is in fabulous condition with minimal rust ( trunk area - nothing major and not spreading like cancer ). Her engine is sound and only a water pump is needed under the hood. Original spoke wheels and spinners are in good condition, headlights are clear and bright, etc... she has potential to be a great driver and the bones for the perfect full restoration. 74k miles, 3.8 Liter Automatic, numbers on car all match ( motor,etc ).
