Up for sale is my personally owned 2002 Suburban “Tank” vehicle that runs incredibly and will last for at least another 200,000 miles for the new owner. I have owned this vehicle for over 4 years and the previous owner was a mechanic that fastidiously maintained this vehicle for optimal performance at all times. The engine was rebuilt by him at 190,000 miles and now has approximately 63,000 miles on it and the transmission was done by him about 20k ago when it began to slip, approximately 4 years ago and was rebuilt by a reputable transmission shop in Brooklyn New York. The body on the truck has a mileage of 252,507 miles. The transmission goes through all the gears perfectly and all four wheel and all wheel switchable drives work flawlessly. I have also maintained this vehicle as it was used to transport a 400 Lb trailer sign for my Advertising and Marketing Business and the only reason I am selling this vehicle is that the assignment ended, or I would still put this ultra-reliable vehicle into some kind of service as the truck is a tank, and the engine is “bullet proof” and I am confident that this SUV can go to California and back 10 times with basic maintenance. As far as the other mechanics go, the power train is exceptional with tremendous power and V8 acceleration, the front end is solid, and the front brakes will need front pads and one brake line is slightly leaking. The Climate Controls and windows seat adjusters and all radio and lights and glass are in perfect working condition except the a/c was working perfectly for three years and just started only blowing cool air not cold so it will need a Freon recharge. The fabric interior is quite clean, with no rips or tears and the fabric could use a good detail but will come up beautifully when detailed and will really look good. The exterior of the vehicle shows well for its age and year, and there are several small scratches along the vehicle, and one fist size dent on the rear side driver quarter panel, but the paint is very clean and again with a good detail will shine very well. There are small areas as pictures with minimal rust development in the lower rocker area on the driver side and very minimal on the passenger side. The underside of the truck is rust free and solid. The electronics and light on this truck all work as they should, and has all its power accessories in perfect operation including an upgraded outrageous sound system with Navigation and DVD player and all upgraded speakers, that alone was $1000.00 installed! There are 2 good tires on the truck, but two will need to be replaced and there is a next to new spare tire so you can rotate them if you want and only buy one new one. The exhaust is nearly new and runs and sounds excellent. The car leaks nothing and rides and performs admirably and this engine purrs and is POWERFUL and will make the new owner proud and can be put into service immediately and needs nothing. Turn the key and drive her away!
