You are bidding on a 1961 Morris Minor 1000 Traveller,a classic British sub-compact vintage automobile or could be a unique rat rod The odometer shows 70,568 miles. VIN: MAW3918594 This is a right hand drive 1961 Morris Minor 1000 Traveller that was imported from the U.K. in 2005. The 948cc engine runs. It has good tires, a new electric fuel pump and a new battery. The car can be driven but, it will NEED WORK before it is ready for street use. The light blue interior is good and the red carpet is great. As you can see in the photos there is surface rust on the body and floor pans with a couple of rust through areas on the floor pan. Some of the heavy undercoating under the car and on the chassis is flaking off showing rust on the metal. Over all, the metal is in good shape. The wood needs to be replaced. There is a company in California that sells the kit at a reasonable price and there are several companies in the U. K. that ship to the U.S. Some parts are missing. Included are the original rear door metal, new chrome sill plates (for under the doors), an original U.K. tag and a how to restoration book. You can view a video.
