LOCAL PICKUP ONLY: Dallas / DFW. PAYMENT: Cash / Cashiers check (with a DFW physical branch location). DEPOSIT REQUIRED: $500 via PayPal (will be refunded at time of pick-up and payment in full). I do not want to accept any portion of the purchase price via PayPal because of the fees (unless you want to pay the fees). This auction is a relist because the high bidder never made contact with me after the auction ended and I didn't have a deposit requirement. So....this deposit is only to secure the 4Runner and ensure serious bidders only. Without all that out of the way - here's the info! You are bidding on a 2000 Toyota 4Runner base model, 2wd, 5 speed manual transmission. I am second private owner. Owned since 2012. Clean title in hand. For 4 1/2 years it was my second car. In good shape and clean for the year model. Silver so it hides a most of the flaws like the clear paint peeling on the right right side of the hood (close up pic). I had the oil changed and washed her but did not deep clean or detail her for this sale (as you will see in the pics) but I have no doubt spots/dirt on the fabric and carpet will come up with a good deep cleaning. However, literally the 2nd week I had it, I had paint in the back from a rental property and it spilled onto the back carpet. The spill is almost 6 years old so no odor, but it's there and not going anywhere. I have extra floor mats and just have always kept them over the spot (see pics). I know they sell replacement back carpet, but didn't care about it since its in the back and not noticeable. Not bad on gas mileage even though it's 18 years old since it's the small engine. 5 speed manual is also a little reassuring for a car this age. Here's what I know she needs: it is going to need front brakes soon and it needs at least 2 front tires soon. Not in immediately but needs to be taken care of soon. Its has some light rust on the wheels but it hasn't really changed much over the past few years. Also there is a big rock chip on the windshield. I believe it to be self-contained/not getting worse because it happened 2 years ago on I-20 and has made it through 2 Texas summers without cracking. That's all the stuff I know of; for the past 1 1/2 years is been my only car, and I don't hesitate about getting in her to drive anywhere. I'm selling it for personal reasons, not mechanical reasons; it only has 173k miles - she obviously has a lot of life left in her - but it is an 18 year old car, so I recommend you have everything checked out to your comfort level. Here's what I've had done: I replaced the battery and starter a year ago, replaced the clutch master cylinder in September 2016 and in the spring of 2016 I had a catalytic converter and exhaust work done to pass inspection and had an oil (pan?) seal replaced while they were down there. She has power mirrors, locks and windows, a non-factory cd player but other than than that she is as basic as they come. You're not buying this for any bells and whistles, at the end of the day the winning bidder is paying for a 2000 Toyota 4runner with only 173k miles on her - that's what's really up for auction here. I'll do my best to answer any questions or send more pics upon request, etc. Thank you, good luck!
